Keith D. Kite

Managing Partner

Keith has more than 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate and construction industries. He has a strong background in real estate investments including ownership, asset management, development and acquisition. This experience allows him to provide expertise in structuring investment sales, financing and advisory services.

Keith began his career in 1978 with M.A. Kite Company. From the early 1980’s to 1990’s, Keith was President of the Kite Group of Companies, a nationwide industrial painting and cleaning contractor with operations throughout the United States and Canada. During that time, Keith guided the company from a regional concern to one of the top 10 largest firms nationally in its specialty.

In 2001, Keith founded Kite Properties, a real estate investment, development and management firm specializing in hospitality and retail properties. The personal experience Keith brings to Coldwell Banker Commercial assists him in every aspect of the sales process. From identifying and pre-qualifying buyers, to solving issues before they arise in the due diligence period, his insight and expertise in retail real estate delivers the resources necessary to guide buyers and sellers through complex transactions.

Keith attended the University of Florida Rinker School of Building Construction and holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Eastern Michigan University.

Kollin G. Kite

Associate Partner

Kollin G. Kite is a Partner on The Kite Team of Coldwell Banker Commercial. Kollin’s focus is on Sales, Leasing, and Property Management of Retail, Office, and Healthcare Properties throughout Florida. Kollin helped form The Kite Team with his father Keith in 2015 and has established a strong regional presence in commercial real estate. Kollin has been directly involved in sales and lease transactions totaling over $48 Million and currently manages more than 400,000 square feet of retail, office, and healthcare properties in Florida.

Kollin received the 3 under 30 Award and most recently the Silver Circle of Distinction from Coldwell Banker Commercial, which recognizes commercial real estate professionals who are making strides in the industry by understanding the importance of building strong customer and community relationships. Recognized as a top sales associate, Kollin was named to the “Chairmans Club” in 2020 and 2021 at Coldwell Banker Schmidt Family of Companies, the No. 1 Coldwell Banker franchise in the country.

Kollin holds a B.S. in finance with an emphasis in investment real estate from the University of Colorado Boulder – Leeds School of Business. Kollin is an Institute Candidate of CCIM and an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). With more than 42 years of experience, Kollin and The Kite Team’s expertise, open communication, superior service, and attention to detail provide his clients with the peace of mind needed to make informed decisions.

Being pathfinders has been at our core since The Kite Family of companies was founded in 1928 when M.A. Kite set out to create a commercial paint contractor company the likes of which hadn’t been seen before in the US. Building off his entrepreneurial spirit and 80 years of family owned experience, we founded The Kite Team, a real estate investment firm in 2001. Our exclusive focus is on the sales and leasing of retail, office, and medical properties throughout Florida. We provide in-depth expertise for single-tenant net lease, shopping centers, office, and healthcare properties.
